Houston's PGs aren't the best passers in the league. Beverly is defensive and Lin is more score first. The Rondo trade would have been good. Melo or not.

I've mentioned before, but we don't run a real enough system to need a Rondo. Dragic might be a better fit imo.

If Houston is going to make any splash in FA they should go after Bosh. He's perfect for the. They'd be undefendable on the offensive end and better defensively.

As a Rockets fan what would you say to moving Harden to the point full time and bringing in a strait jump/3point shooting 2 guard to start?

Management would probably prefer love because he shoots 3s, disregarding his poor defense.
No thanks. Why take an elite scorer and try and make him the point. The other players should work to get him good looks. Not him work to get everyone better looks.
Every night we're severely out matched at point guard and power forward. Beverly is nice, but he's a backup. Jones is undersized at the 4. Typical 3-4 tweener

Houston needs a PG like Rondo more than they need Melo. That offense is so outta place. Nothing but isolations, chucking even on the fast break, and FTs. Rondo would do wonders for that team. Plus players would listen to Rondo more than anything Mchale says.

He definitely had the green light in OKC. I'm sure @Julius Wrek @itsaboutthattime and @DatZNasty could speak better on it than I can though

Their offense isn't the main problem. It's the defense or more so the transition D that needs some work. If Rockets get dropped in the 1st round this season, I would vouch for McHale to either get the boot or a "defense specialist" assistant.

The offense really is layups or 3s and nothing in between. The problem is, I feel like we have to work way too hard to get looks that could be had with off the ball movement, and better floor spacing

With the rest of the bench players in yeah but while in the line up with KD and Russ he played more of a pass first roll. At least that's how it seemed.

He was playing 31 minutes a night, was in the lineup late in 4th quarters, & had the green light as much as a 3rd option can possibly have playing alongside the #1 scorer in the league & a shoot first PG.

Its crazy how they had Lowry and Dragic. Two players that would fit in perfectly right now and push them to that next step.
