what's the point of having both waiters and foye tho?
I don't understand it, either.
It's true he makes some questionable decisions in-game, but it's glaring how his stats prove otherwise. Leads me to believe inflation playing a role.
I used to be on the boat of people who believed you could win with Westbrook as your #1. But he's evidently shown this to be the furthest thing from the truth, judging from his body of work the last 3 years. Sure, he's found a way to co-exist with Durant, but this is at the expense of the rest of the team. There's no movement in OKC, and they do not play a lick of defense.
Maybe we'd be signing a different tune if the team was properly built, but I'm not even sure if you can do that with both KD and Westbrook. Someone has to go and I have a feeling they both will.
I think a lot of it has to do with the structure of the team more so than Russ. I don't think we would be singing the same tune if they had the proper playmaker alongside Russ (similar to when they had Harden). Its clear there is something missing. The rest of their roster is not THAT bad, but the lack of offensive/defensive movement and the ability to make others better is hindering the franchise from success.
