Customer service is lost art nowadays. Went to Footlocker about 10:30 a.m. to grab my reserved pair and theirs like 8 dudes out front the store waiting to feast on leftovers. Theirs not a single person in the front of the store so I get in line for the register. Its my turn so I tell them I'm here to pick up a reserved pair, the young lady proceeded to suck her teeth and ask me if anyone has been notified to grab my pair. I tell her no you are the first staff member I spoke too and before I could finish speaking she rolls her eyes and yells for someone who appears to be her manager and notify her. Manager pulls me out of line and asks me why did I wait line instead of talking to someone. Told her when I came through the door the only people I saw where behind the register.

The person who actually rung me up didn't even check my reserve till I mentioned it to her. Just glad I was able to secure my pair, anyone know if I can add the transaction to my account online so I can get closer to VIP status? Would feel better with a 10 minute head start for the 4s

Give ftl a call or chat and they’ll be able to add your purchase to your vip. Have your receipt info.

My second pair will be worn in the unlikely event that my first pair has a catastrophe happen to it.

Otherwise it’ll sit in a box for me to pull out and admire..

They may release again in the future but with Gentry back we can’t really count on it being much better than this.

Was on SNKRS app when it went live @ 10. Clicked immediately. Struck out after 10 mins of "pending". Fine. No biggie.

Hit up Finish Line. Was in & out in maybe 90 seconds. BUT....

My card got charged as "pending" for the kicks. But can't find the transaction anywhere in my account. Should I be shook??? I just wanted to cop my grails & get myself a nice born day (tomorrow) present, mane....

Yes 4s/air maxes have degradation issues but for the most part my pairs last through the years....I double up on pairs that I consider cornerstones to my collection. While yes these retro’d In ‘10 (wasn’t infrared was varsity), ‘14 (wasn’t this the pair that wasn’t 3M’d) I’m not sure when I will get this close to the OG (which I believe had a black insole with infrared). Why wait first JB tic release an inferior retro when these pairs resell prices will be higher than the retail I pay today for the double up.

As always your mileage may vary. Ftl in lakeside NOLA held me down even with my app not working. Much love. Just like my first pair almost 19 years ago. Same spot...different store. Was athletes foot last time. King of the backdoor lol.
