SM's scripts are free and they have a higher success rate than the Footsite bots, yet not everyone uses them. Same concept. It's not impossible to hit on the footsites manually, it depends on luck.

The only semi hyped release I ever hit on manually (for the footsites) were the SBB 1.0's. After an hour of trying to add to cart it finally worked.
