All this talk of early pairs, example from UN, remind me of the whole art forgery world, prominent dealers that can't be selling fakes ends up found to be selling fakes, people didn't question them because of their reputation in the art world. Later some that found their pieces to be fake don't reveal it because of losing money, they put back on the market and sell, no one is the wiser. Auction houses, individual, museums ripped off because they gave some benefit to the dealer because of established reputation.
