Got a quick question for sizing: I saw on the boutiques sites that UK8 = US9, but on the actual box of the MRs it says UK8 is a US 8.5. I wear a 9 for TDs, will UK8 fit me?

Check your TD box. Pretty sure your 9 is a UK 8.5. Only you will know how much room you have left in the toe box.
