Twas the Night Before Cool grey release - Written by Marley
'Twas the night before Cool Grey release, and all through the land
Not a sneakerhead was stirring, they all had a plan;
Some made connects early and pre-paid if they can,
This release will be EPIC, sold out everywhere man.
The stockrooms were stocked with crisp, cool grey pairs,
The lines will form soon and hundreds of people will be there;
The sneakerheads were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of shiny patent leather danced in their heads;
My alarm is set and I’m ready to run,
I had just settled down after a night of wild fun,
When out in the street there arose such a clatter,
I threw on my Space Jams to go see what was the matter.
Away to the window, I flew like Mike ,
Not really sure cuz it seemed so dreamlike.
The moon shined like diamonds on the fresh-fallen snow
It looked like a jewelry store sparkling below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a big ol red truck, and the shipment of the year,
Out hopped a dude with a beard that’s all spiky,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nike.
Faster than DRose his helpers they flew,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them out by their shoes;
"Now, Grape! now, Concord! now, Flu Game and Space Jam!
On, Threes! on Fours! on, Cool greys and Jumpmans!
To the stock rooms of Foot Locker and Finish Line at the mall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away y’all!"
So up to building the helpers they flew,
With the boxes of Cool greys, and St. Nike too.
And then, I heard it, a knock at the door
I paused and I waited, what would he come here for
As I set down my bat, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nike came with a bound.
He was dressed all in Jordan Brand, from his hat to his coat,
And his clothes bore the logo of the man we call “The GOAT
