you can literally plan out those things from the device you made this thread on.
Wait... Your best years are in your 20s? Says who? Your life is what you make of it.
Which means your 30's are actually better than your 20'sClassic misconception.Wait... Your best years are in your 20s? Says who? Your life is what you make of it.
Your 30s are your 20s with wisdom.

Classic misconception.

Don't forget about higher pay too.
Note to self: don't have kids.As someone who is firmly entrenched in their 30's, I dont necesarily agree with the statement that your 30's are your 20's with wisdom. You absolutely have more wisdom in your 30's but its likely that you also have a lot more responsibilities too. In my 20's, the biggest restriction to doing what i wanted when i wanted was money. In my 30's, money is not the issue, its time. That being said, a big factor here is being a parent. I have friends in their mid to late 30's without any kids and they truly are living like they did in their 20's except with more wisdom and a helluva lot more money. I guess it depends on what you want in life.Which means your 30's are actually better than your 20'sWait... Your best years are in your 20s? Says who? Your life is what you make of it.

EDIT:
Stupid question, but whenever you see these studies about number of paid vacation days that Americans have compared to people in other countries, do they take into account paid Holidays? Do Europeans have about the same amount of traditional paid holidays (Federal Holidays) and do these count to the tally? I cant imagine they celebrate things like 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc... etc...

That anecdotal evidence.
I've met europeans british, norweigian, bulgarian, it goes on some that lived here in SF for 4 years some for a few months but they've all traveled way more than just Europe so the whole geographical argument goes out the window. Some of them after the US went on to S. America, then Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand. They travel the world while young. While most of the americans I know are just working, talking about they'll travel later in life when we know that realistically that won't happen and who is going to want to travel while in your 50s or 60s anyways, the quality won't be the same. It's just what it is
I've been convinced for a while now that Xennial is around 17 years old based on his posts and points of view.
Its the truth. Heard someone refer to the US as the matrix & when you sit back and think about it thats truly what it is.
That's actually what that movie was about.
Well how about you travel to Europe and stay there then
Which part of Germany you in?"The reason we struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind-the-scenes with everyone else’s highlight reel."
Ex-pat living in Germany checking in.
OP actually has a good point.
Americans: Work all the time no vacation/traveling. Spend all their money to buy things they don't need to impress people they don't like.
Europeans: Constantly traveling to see new places, meet new people, learn new things.
Bruh, this how Taken happened. I'll just give my kid a bike and tell him/her to travel down the street.

I'm 31 and I'm on my second Passport after filling up the first one.
I've lived in and visited over 30 countries since 18.
Europeans may not drive Cadillac Escalade and have 6 bedroom homes, but they also can afford to take family vacations every summer.
I lived in Thailand 6 months Aussies and Brits always make sure to give thier children great vacations.
Their kids are more open minded and intelligent culture/social wise than American youth.
While I continue to strive and develop at age 31 most of my American peers are on a decline with 3 or 4 kids already living like old folks.
That's pretty much it for them.....work take care of kids accumulate debt consume ******ed unneeded things.
Never even left thier hometowns.
American way of parenting....
Here kids here's an XBOX One,PS4, IPAD to entertain and parent you while I go be a workaholic to buy you even more useless junk.
Euro way of thinking.....
Here kids I got you passports and we are going to travel and I want you to see different cultures and see the way the rest of the world works.
BTW start reading these tour books and learning some X languages of X countries we will be visiting this summer.
This is why teenage pregnancy is so huge in the US...narrow minded idol minds get bored and start looking for an early end game, marriage and family.
Euro mindset is like....kids??marriage?? No way there are still places I want to travel, see and do like my parents have showed me.
Bro your right though...all the overseas tourist yambz I ran through were all pretty much just that.
