"No Warning" was my joint.
Lupe Fiasco Food and Liquor, The Cool and Lasers.
Lasers was a drop for sure but the other two are classics.

Murs earlier material was better than those albums listed. The 3:16 albums he did with 9th went from good to meh.
sales back then were tracked on units shipped based on preorders of retailers before soundscan.
that lil mom & pop's orders were calculated at da time of distribution, not at da point of sale back then.
hence some people "shipped gold, shipped Platinum, etc."
Tracked by who?
and who were these artist shipping gold and platinum back then?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/RIAA_certificationPrior to Nielsen SoundScan, RIAA certification was the only audited and verifiable system for tracking music sales in the U.S.; it is still the only system capable of tracking 100% of sales (albeit as shipments less returns, not actual sales like Nielsen SoundScan).[citation needed] This system has allowed, at times, for record labels to promote an album as Gold or Platinum simply based on large shipments. For instance, in 1978 the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band soundtrack shipped platinum but was a sales bust, with two million returns.[8] Similarly, all four solo albums by the members of Kiss simultaneously shipped Platinum that same year but did not reach the top 20 of the Billboard 200 album chart.

da Source would regularly run "congratulations_____ for shipping Platinum" ads from bad boy or Def Jam.

That doesn't go against anything I said or help you at all.
mom and pops still didn't have soundscan, and soundscan didn't come about until the early 90's
and numbers were still based around what labels reported, and labels often under reported album sales....why...because that's less money they have to pay the artist or can claim against their recoupment
I stand by what I said. Give me Fiasco's first 3 and I'm good. You might wanna go swap out that tampon.Youre a ******. Read the title of the damn thread before posting jackoff
