Boardwalk Empire Season 5 Thread - Series Finale - Eldorado

I like how you brought all of those details up, but you didn't mention the biggest thing

Harrow picked up a letter from the two dead dudes. If memory serves me correct, I believe it had to do with insurance payouts or something along those lines.

Thats right and the office guy was just the middle man. I remembered the letters, just didnt mention it since it was already brought up.

luciano is the one that got caught doing something last season right?
selling heroine to an undercover cop, after Rothstein's told him not to deal.

the cop was dirty and Rothstein set him up.
ohhhhhhh yea *repped*

forgot he set him up....was wondering why he wasn't in jail

iirc those guys werent cops at all, just goons hired by rothstein to steal the heroin from the bust and get the rest of lansky/luciano's stash

they were cops, uc's from buffalo

One thing I'd like to know more about is how Rothstein got out of his predicament when Nucky jammed him up about the distillery.

I know the end result, because obviously Rothstein was at the meeting, just wish there was a bit more detail.

yo he is a continual problem and **** starter. it has to be another dude that can do what he does and not **** everything up.

i dunno but i see him as he'll stab chalky in the back the first chance he gets and i think the girl was hip too tellin him chalky needs to be careful.
purnsley is the perfect example of when " keeping it real goes wrong"

**edit** oh and BTW i stumbled upon the synopsis for episodes for the month of September. (ep 1-4) and be forewarned...jimmies will be rustled.

This season's Nucky is one I can appreciate. No more is he the Casino's Sam "Ace" Rothstein, he's taking what is given to him based off his name and reputation and quickly cutting the pleasantries short. Perfectly played when he cut the broadway-hopeful off and sent her back where she came from, same with old 'friends." Looking forward to Sunday!

this dumb chick really thought she could play games and get away with it. I like how Narcisse handled it. Got a piece of the club and then dealt with her

This Chalky and Dr. Narcisse showdown is giving me shades of the Omar/Brother Mouzone face off in the alley

this dude is gonna try and outsmart chalky all season, until chalky just realizes it's time to off this guy

good episode. i don't see how the girl being killed in front of the new construction effects Nucky. He just gets paid off of it and it has nothing in his name.

am i mistaken or this new young agent undercover for the president?

a lot going on so early in this season, can't wait to see what's going to go on in Tampa

at first i thought nucky was going to be tired of getting thrown into this situation with chalky and the trouble with it but, chalky saved nucky's behind last season so they're in this together

Boss :pimp: , even though I'm Team Chalky/Nucky  .

Solid episode tonight. Was looking forward to see how Dr. Narcisse would be introduced, and the furthering of Richard's story. A lot of people I know don't care for Van Alden anymore, but I still do. Waiting for dude to snap one day and go off on the next person to trigger him.

Almost positive Agent Knox is working for J Edgar, who we saw at the table tonight.

As far as the girl (forget her name) being dumped at the construction site, I thought of it as just another 'headache' he and Bader brought up in the car in the beginning of the episode. Definitely think this will haunt Nucky and company in the long run.

The way the Doc handled ole girl was beautiful. If she had told the truth she probably would still be alive.

This and Ray Donovan back to back the last 2 weeks + football have made for some WILD *** Sundays!

just realized Mr Means is Stapler dude from Office Space  So a mini reunion with Peter.

Good episode again. So I'm assuming van alden going to switch sides again?

So what are the odds we'll see Hoover cross-dressing this season?

Also, that head rub took Chalky to the feel coaster.

Eddie   Son had me this ep and at the same time I feel sorry for him with this limp and unsteadiness. Seems like natural progression the way he's more involved. I can see Eddie being what Marge was suppose to be when Nucky trusted her and brought her in to the fold a bit more. Eddie is like Alfred if he was working for a criminal mastermind.

Van Alden got himself a down *** chick. Actually happy for dude. He should've smartened up and actually reported to Al when they made that deal. He one of the most suspicious looking dudes trying to blend in

   @ "Get your Jamaican *** back to-" "But I'm from Trinidad" Can't wait for more friction between Chalky and Narcisse.

He already seems like a character that I'd want to last but between the two I know one is gonna have to die by the end of this. Not sure a peaceful relationship will last as the series goes on. I can see Chalky letting him know Narcisse called him a servant one too many times

 @ dude they got to play a young Hoover. I can already tell I'm gonna really enjoy this season.

I will be disappoint if this doesn't happen.

Van Alden doesn't even know he has a ride or die.  Nucky couldn't even get one man

.

I laughed at that exchange between Chalky and Narcisse.  Narcisse is already in Chalky's head, gonna be interesting to see how it plays out.  I can see Chalky breaking away from Nucky...

Damn, what a great start to season 4. That first exchange between Eddy and Nucky at the breakfast table had me chuckling

I wonder if Rothstein is going to get involved since Narcisse is from his neck of the woods.

THIS!!!

Great episode last night. I think Nucky might be in trouble since J Edger Hoover and his agent Knox know about him now. J Edger played no games in history and rose to the top of the FBI and I'm sure Nucky will be part of his ascension. I don't think he will go down right away but it will probably drag out in a couple of seasons IMO. I also am happy they are getting more into Van Alden and Harrow. I think Harrow is in trouble for not offing that guy like he was supposed to. I am glad it only took 1 episode to tie up his loose ends.

Knox will be offed by the end of the season for screwing things up.

Chalky wouldn't leave Nucky bc Nucky still owns the Boardwalk and that's where the Club is. Ideally, if anything Rothstein is going to become enemies with Narcisse (contrary from next weeks previews) as well since they are from the same neck of the woods and Nucky will ask Rothstein for assistance.

No idea what they are going to do with Harrow, they can only have him do his own story for so long. They either need to off him or somehow get him involved with Nucky or Tommy etc.

No Schroder for the first 2 episodes. :smokin

Chalky: "Well aint no Libyans here."

Narcisse: "You yourself are one."

Chalky: "Oh, I'm from Texas!"

Good introduction to Dr. Narcisse. Might be the most calm, well-spoken gangster ever created...

He used the chick to cut into Chalky's club business and then off'd her proper... All while belittling Chalky with the 'servant' label...

I think its cool how they gave him this religious/scripture-following theme to him as well... Kind of ironic that he had "Pastors" working for him as well.

Chalky smacking the cheeks of that one dancer... :pimp:

Sad to see that Richard Harrow's soft side is starting to show...

 @ Van Alden catching the chair and continuing to fight in a daze...

Been saying that since she caught the body for him. Also was dying when when he turned all Hulk during the fight.

Anyone know if Dr. Narcisse is based on a real person? tried searching the name but found another Narcisse who was a real zombie :nerd:

Harrow breaking down when he was asked to kill the dog was pretty sad :frown:
