I only today learned what the Shmoney Dance is and this guy is already facing over a dime. 

And it sounds like he was under surveillance.  They saw him brandishing the gun in his apartment, meaning they had to have been looking in there in the first place.  It's not even a game anymore man, the cops are on the purge right now - just think of how quickly this guy came and will most likely vanish.

Yall do know NYPD does just about anything to get people caught up. Dudes don't follow regulation at all, and a majority of cases don't stick. A bum lawyer can get a case dismissed a majority of the time out there, so it ain't as bad as yall may think.
