well its because a majority of the guns that are "modern" like the AUG and others came out in the 70's and 80's

MW2 sucked balls with stupid overpowered killstreaks that had so many people camping and the dumbest perk in history, commando-uche.
With that said, no way was World at War better than MW2. It had fewer glitches and ridiculous perk combinations that could ruin the gameplay for MW2 matches, but the good aspects of MW2 are much better than the good aspects of WaW. This will be another 8 out of 10 game.
