YES DIRTY, the car was a "salvage" title.. I bought it with 46k for $7,000.

It was a smart buy actually. Tell me otherwise.  The car has 74k now. First problem Ive had.
You've spent 10% of the cost of the car on repairs. Who knows what's coming after that.

That's not a deal to me at all, especially if you're intending to drive the car to the ground.

and yes, keep the AAA member bec. it looks like you'll need it often.

 Dude please. 9 out of 10 people I know have had a car repair over $500 at some point.

Since when are we putting ratios on prices of repairs and purchase price? If I buy a 2002 BMW M3 and get a brake job for $2,000 and pay 15k for the car, then what do you say? 

The salvage has nothing to do with it. I knew exactly why it became a salvage and it was nothing major like a flood, etc.
