Yeah people don't know that when he became mainstream he was already known in the south. Koopa been hustling. And to keep it 100.....he was one of the first guys I've seen take advantage of the internet. He was tech and internet savvy before anyone else was.

A lot of these Houston rappers who got on like Slim Thug, Koopa, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, etc.....they all had money before the deal. They were touring around the south like mainstream artists were.

So to hear he's a investor in tech companies now......it explains why he got money. HE thought long term not short term. But I guess in this world if you aren't flashing money on IG than you have no money lol.

The Houston independent rap scene was beautiful because the locals actually supported the movement. People would actually buy legit copies of the album and bang them.
