DON'T MESS WITH A GAMER

These guys are getting hyped playing for a cash prize. I'm sure some of you guys act similar playing nba 2k with nothing on the line.

my lil brother used to get flown around the country to play world of warcraft. i thought it was funny and nerdy until he started coming home with money. :nerd: dude made money and got to travel for free.

Not so much frowned upon but I mean come on... just looking at these dudes...

How much yambs are they pulling on a regular?

How about developing socializing and interacting skills with women instead of investing countless hours on a couch?

What about their health... what's more important to them playing 8 hours of COD, or putting in 1-2 hours exercising a day?

Then you have the whole mental health issue with these cats being obsessed with video games, porn and living in an alternate reality!

But hey... if this is what they want in life... who am I to knock on their hustle.. just don't start complaining how their life sucks at 30 years old because they spent their teenage years and 20's playing video games in the basement of their mom's house.

Someone likes something I don't?
Someone good at something I'm not?
Someone different than me?

I'm gonna go ahead and assume the worst because My mommy said I'm perfect. Me me me me.......

I don't know as I don't know any of them personally. I know from being in the fighting game scene that you have people from all kinds of walks of life and personalities. Many of them are not socially maladjusted or reclusive. In fact, its often quite the opposite.
Exactly. You can't generalize gamers. Some are nerds and some are just regular people who you would never think are gamers. I went to street fighter tournament once ( to spectate not play) and I saw what you might call "bro dudes", dudes wearing anime shirts, hood dudes, and everything in between. Gamers don't fit a stereotype.

Not to mention everything he said could be flipped and said about "sneakerheads" if you wanna continue to generalize lol.

Guys who play games are nerds...... But guys who line up for shoes are cool!!

Dat irony
