When you are drafted #2 overall, I dont care how bad the draft is, people expect more than just a marginal NBA player.
In a weak draft, no they don't.

Exactly what you said... they're a team of role players, and everyone is playing their role perfectly right now. Iguodala will be gone in a few years, and by that time, hopefully Turner will develop into a good NBA talent.
I was not a huge fan of them drafting Turner, but it's not like Favors or Johnson are tearing it up. I would have rather drafted Cousins based on talent, but we've already seen him have character issues multiple times with the Kings. I have complete faith in what Collins is doing with this team right now.

If he's not ready to properly contribute, then don't force him in. If you play him simply because he's the #2 pick, then you're hurting him and the team. Let him develop in practices and scrimmages this year. I have no problem admitting he's having an underwhelming rookie year, but he's not needed right now. If he's still in this same position two years from now, I have no problem saying he's a bust.Originally Posted by StillIn729

it has nothing to do with how the Sixers are playing, he can't even find minutes off the bench...that says a lot to me, who cares if the Sixers are playing their best ball in years, it's not like he was a 1 year player and came into the NBA. Evan should be able to contribute off the bench at minimum as a rookie.
