Yeah it depends on whether you're serving the sentences concurrently or consecutively. If you're serving consecutive sentences, you can only parole to the next sentence. Which means you're not walking out that door. At least that's how it works in MA.Multiple sentences.
It comes down to parole eligibility I think.
Meanwhile the former actress who killed somebody's mother/wife only got 3 years.
And what does that have to do with anything?
This dummy was the triggerman in 3 separate shootings and had a chance at only being locked up for 15, which he turned down. But folks are somehow upset at him getting 117? Like this fool would have somehow been a productive member of society. Good riddance.

can you show me where he turned down 15?
How can you attempt murder and commit murder but the sentence for actually killing someone is 3 years but attempted with other charges is 117 years that's a huge sentence gap. :x
A fourth defendant who was facing more charges, Santino (Cueno) Broderick, was offered a 15-year deal. He was overheard telling his lawyer, “Fifteen? Dang. My life is over.”
“You want 80 or you want 15,” his lawyer Kevin Canfield told him, referring to how much time the 23-year-old could face if convicted at trial.
Broderick turned down the deal, and will stand trial next week.
those are regular nba game numbers these days... no defenseThey're throwing All Star basketball score numbers at these boys just to make an example.
Brothers gotta be more careful.
still a huge gap regardless if he turned it down. I turn down 15 you give me 117 :x

This aint the guy you want to make your argument forOur justice system really picks and chooses who they wanna bury based upon social status & color & it's sickening. If these "crimes" had some consistency to them and everyone got the same treatment i wouldn't be SMH but the disparity is always there.
