HANNIBAL NBC | S3, Ep13 "The Wrath of the Lamb" 8/29/15 10/9c

Gillian Anderson has killed it this season. Love every scene she has been in. I do not remember if she has had an extended scene with Will which was great to see.

I wonder what the significance of having Hannibal sending Chilton's book to Will, do not know if I missed it.

He just wanted to get Will's address...where his family lives.

Presumably to send the Toothfairy there...

I've now seen that scene done 3 different ways now  :pimp:

Good ep. Like the plunge in to Dolarhyde's relationship, and most importantly finally seeing more of Bedeila's encounter with that patient Hannibal referred to her. Zachary Quinto did it justice :pimp: I liked how they cut between the session and her condo with Will.

 @ Dolarhyde throwing Will around like a rag doll. Son is rusty.

They need to be more consistent with Dolarhyde's jacked up teeth  The fakes aren't always in his mouth.

Hannibal setting that all up was cold. Dude shooting that random driver made me flinch

The kid telling Will to kill Dolarhyde

I like how they keep foreshadowing stuff by bringing Freddie back up. I know what's going to happen but still.

Alana's authoritative role makes her sexy as **** or even more so than her lesbian sex romps

Hopefully fuller can use the same people in Hannibal again in American Gods. I hope starz lets him do whatever he wants. NBC did let him pretty much do whatever though

I have not seen the movie Red Dragon in a while but

Did Chilton take the place of Freddie Lounds this episode? I remember Phillip Seymour Hoffman playing the Lounds role in the film and Chilton's character is alive and well at the start of Silence of the Lambs.

Cannot believe there is only one episode left. :smh:

Damn they did Chilton dirty and for him to still be alive is the worst part.

Now I'm wondering if Freddie will even die.

This dude Dolarhyde and his psychosis is crazy :smh: It was cool when Will was channeling Hobbs and Hannibal but now it's just weird as ****. This dude seems just plain delusional on a higher scale. Not worthy. Seems like he's just being used by Hannibal to mess with Will.

Hannibal was pretty much on point with everything he said this ep. Loved the convo with jack about GOD, the devil, and the lion/lamb and how they went around plugging in Will, Jack, Dolarhyde, and himself.

Kinda but that Chilton scene was OD plus you know he's still alive.

This got me thinking of who Hannibal will go after for Silence of the Lambs (even though that won't be done) seems like that'd be Alana.

Appreciate them switching it up at least. Even Hannibal took a jab at the movie when joking about using toilet paper to communicate with the Red Dragon.

But yeah, the movie had PSH rolling down the hill, up in flames, and ultimately dying (I think).  They did a play on this last season with Freddie faking her death, but this time, they took the same gag and reversed it on Chilton... essentially giving Will & Jack the finger on what they did before.  All quite clever, but didn't expect it to be Chilton!

Should SotL materials, I'm also guessing Alana will take Chilton's role.   Though I don't see her as reckless and careless as Chilton.

Damn, one left.

Wow, what a finale.

Honestly couldn't have ended it any other way and very fitting (since they probably didn't know if they'd get renewed).

What a finale!  I thought it was fantastic way to, possibly, end the season if not the series!  That ending scene was pretty intense too!

But what about that post-credits scenes?!

And did I see 3 chairs?

I'm guessing the finale must've played in w/e countries you guys are in.

I don't feel like watching it online. Unless it's on demand now :nerd:

*Goes to check*

Just caught up and finished season 3. Awesome finale!!

That team up x post credit scene with Bedelia = wowww...:smokin:smokin

They truly did end it perfectly.

Nice ending. I liked how they changed things.

Wish they made the Will & Hannibal vs. Dolarhyde fight longer :pimp: The way they were just tearing each other part with deadly blows was crazy and fun to watch  Hannibal with that achilles tendon slice again :smokin So critical.

Dolarhyde's entrance was so on point  :pimp: I really almost thought it was over and that was a kill shot. Hannibal having that much energy to fight was something else and I think it's clear how he's lucky that way when you look at his past close calls. If Will wasn't there or got killed first he'd probably be washed.

I guess the first encounter with Will's wife and kid was enough not to go back there for the ending. Still liked how Will got messed up though.

I feel like if there was another season they would've had some cool eps showing how Will survived and how Hannibal recovered and met up with Bedeila.

Poor Bedeila :smh: She knew how it was going to go down with Will playing games and knew Hannibal was gonna get his due. I wonder if she still fronting like she a vegetarian with that meal.

Great finale to a great season all in all. I feel like in many ways it was the most bold season from the writing and how the showed it. I actually have to re-watch this a few more times just so it can all sink in. I'm still hoping in the back of my head I can get to see more this whole crew together telling these stories.

Holy crap at this finale :wow:

The Will x Hannibal tag team was :pimp:

I wonder if that scene was re-shot once they knew NBC cancelled or if it was always intended to be that way.

Bedelia finally marinated?

It was perfect. Just perfect.
What an amazing 3 season run. Lets never forget this show bruhs. Cherish it for life.

One thing I really loved about the ending was the music. That song fit perfectly and was great.

Sounded like some Bond intro music :pimp:

Finally finished episodes 8-13.

Will gets as messed up and beat up as any main character i've seen on tv. His trap setting sucks though.

Dunno how dolarhyde drove in his van to the area with the fountain, put chifton in a wheelchair, set him on fire, kicked him down to the fountain, and getting away without the snipers seeing him do it all. He was also James Bond with the way he took out the police escort of hannibal's transport. That jacket he rocked was piff.

Poor Bedelia, hate that it had to be her.
