first part i dont agree with his choice of words but the message is true. not trying to be an **** but why would someone deliberately choose to get bullied on line. you can block people, ignore them, turn of your cpu. the internet is almost like a paradox. its real but its really not if you catch my drift.I wish 4Chan would ruin this dude.
i completely agree with you.But I don't understand why they can't just not log onnobody told you you HAD to make a fb profile or an ig. When you subject yourself to that arena u gotta understand that you're subject to any and everything by any and everyone. And it's fair game because nobody forced you to go online. these kids gotta understand that comes with the territory of being online in that way. You can get everything u need done and stay completely anonymous. Like these stories of kids getting bullied all day at school then go home and have to deal with it online so they can't take it..it's really just pathetic IMO there's certain things that can be easily avoided instead these kids are offing themselves? Its unbelievable. It's just the day and age we live in I guess people living vicariously online so much that they think the internet is reality. And it may be for them but that doesn't make it real in the scope of REALITY
I see what you are saying, but why aren't people teaching their children that if they can't say whatever they are typing to your face, it doesn't matter.
They can type/make-up anything they want behind a screen, if they can't address you as a person and say it, it's irrlevent. And if they do bring it up in person, address it.

While I understand what you are saying; this is where the disconnect lies between generations. What separates this new generation is they are children of the information age and they know nothing but what it has evolved into. I was already graduated from HS when the Internet started becoming more common in households. My preference of communication is not texting or leaving comments on walls or photos, but talking face to face or on the phone. This "Internet is not real" talk is absolutely false. It's not real in the minds of people who started using it at an older age and remembered how communication used to be. It is reality for this current generation and going forward. But I don't understand why they can't just not log onnobody told you you HAD to make a fb profile or an ig. How do you raise a child or give advice on a subject you yourself have never had to deal with? It's easy for you or I to say just ignore it when we aren't dependent on it like the youth of today are. I am in no mean justifying it, but rather giving you a different perspective on how to look at it.I see what you are saying, but why aren't people teaching their children that if they can't say whatever they are typing to your face, it doesn't matter.

Social media made every minor event important
I hate bullying..Internet bullying and physical bullying
I also think suicide is an extreme as well.
However, kids these days are soft. But to think back, kids back in the days were soft as well. There's soft kids of every generation.
How do you tell your kids to fight back physically in a country full of lunatics that respond to punches and words with weapons? It's not that simple. I honestly would not know how to deal with my kids being bullied
You cannot do everything for your kids, your kids will one day need to defend their own families. Teach them stand up for themselves. Hit that bully with one good one and it will stop. No one wants to get stuck, even a bully. Why would he bully the guy who might stick him in the jaw when he can easily bully the dude who will just take it?
