make NYC work for myself even when you don't have a choice .. homecourt is always better.

Don't let your work ethic go down the drain just because high school is easy, college won't be
Start developing your skills in particular fields that will help you for future classes/careers
Have one go-to move and work on your jumper for basketball tryouts
Stockpile Gilbert Arenas sneakers and jerseys
Quit being shy and ask her out
Don't trust some of these new friends you're making
Get closer with the people you'll befriend later on in high school
Be friends with the cute, down to earth girls who didn't start getting lots of attention till junior/senior year
Try and make the most of things, you can never go back to being this age
I'd basically give myself a rundown on what kind of mentality I should have. I wasn't dumb, but I was naive. At that age I was still trying to figure things out, including myself.
