iOS 5 Update

Anyone help me?!

So My old computer broke and i havent upated my iphone 4 yet. I dont want to loose any of my apps, texts, or pics. How do i update without losing anything? I am downloading the new itunes onto a new computer. I see you guys say back up your phone, but Im sorry dont really know what that means!

Just updated to 5.0.1 on my Iphone 4. Hopefully I see some change in my battery life.

Since upgrading the iOS, I have seen an improvement to my battery life.

5.0.1 OTA update went surprisingly smooth on both ipad/iphone. i have seen some batt improvment also.

At this point I don't care about tethered and untethered anymore.  I just need a jb for the 4S.
