superblyTRIFE basically saw one Odd Future performance from Jimmy Fallon and is judging the entire collective. These kids know how to make music at the end of the day. You can't always attach 'hype' to everything that gets people's attention. Maybe it's being hyped because it's actually good? I mean, did we ever look at it that way?

Note where I said that Earl DOES have skills. And yes, I've listened to his album, watched some performances and yes, I did see the Fallon one too. And? Does that qualify me to have a valid opinion? Or should I have been at their SXSW shows too? OF as a whole are hyped, in my opinion. Is there talent there? Obviously. That Frank Ocean joint is ridiculous. But to be asking if Earl is the GOAT teen rapper? Can't see it boss...maybe that's just me.

there may be rappers that can get more lyrical than him, but his flow and wordplay is waaaaay more complex than any other rapper at his age range.

so what if his !%%$ doesnt have meaning or he doesnt rap about anything, its all preference. but in reality, music is all about entertainment and earl is probably the most entertaining rapper out right now. if you wanna listen to music with meaning then go to a #!**$$ open mic poetry club, but if you wanna be entertained then earl is your best bet.

personally i like that violent, rape, mutilation type of !%%$ that earl raps about, and on top of that his ridiculous wordplay and flow.

also the fact that this !%%$ has gone 7 pages and hes being compared to hip hop legends should tell people something. its new and a different style of rapping. just like when bone thugs and harmony came out with that fast rapping.

this kid is a genius with his words, and based off his wordplay complexity and buttery flow, id say hes better than most of all ages. what othe rapper has a flow his heavy? yeah those other rappers that people posted are pretty lyrical at that young age, but who carries his flow?? people honestly dont see this style and all they look for is what he raps about and its meaning... they dont realize that this kid has a crazy tongue twister bar structure that no one else has
