Question about cleats:

Nike baseball cleats vs. Adidas baseball cleats...if you had to pick between the two, which would you choose and why?

Most of the Yankees are now wearing Nike cleats (they have a new apparel contract with Nike after being with Adidas for several years) and I'm wondering ifNike cleats are better than those of Adidas. I've never worn cleats before so I don't have any first-hand experience to work with so I figured I couldask any of you here for your input.

Thanks in advance.

Nikes, by far. They look the best and perform even better. "Anything less would be uncivilized."

From my personal experience I would go Nike, Mizuno, Adidas in order of comfort. I'm sure you'd get multiple answers from different people but youprobably can't go wrong with a pair of Nike's for starters

Kaz and his soccer mitts, lol. I like the look of Adrian's all-black Fuses and for a second, I thought Well's cleats had forefoot Shox in them as well. It's just the cleat part, but I had to take a double look at it.

Yeah, the colored spikes look is nice.

Man kaz's gloves still trip me out. I'm pretty sure he's not the only one though. During the WBC I'm pretty sure I saw a Korean run the baseswith some huge padded gloves. They didn't look like regular batting gloves though. I do remember that is was the dude with the stash LOL

I just want to write a little about the new style of gloves that are beginning to become really popular with pitchers. The feature is having the back side ofthe glove made of cloth mesh. I think louisville started it with Roger Clemens and the model that he had. Louisville, Rawlings, and now Nike all seem to have amodel like this. I know for sure Nike is doing for the first time this year. these gloves are suppose to be lighter. Just wondering if they are going to hitthe public market or if they are just a thing that will be available to the pros. They have to be quite a bit less durable, and might not be some thing thatwould be very good for guys in the field. I need to find a better Rawlings picture.

Josh Beckett has some very nice Reebok PE's. A lot of guys have this years new vero's but his are the only ones i have seen with any different colors.I'm suprised how many big leaguers Reebok has in these cleats but yet you can't really find that model anywhere to buy. I'm also suprised theyaren't making beckett use their glove with the new logos. Reebok has changed the logos they are using for all their baseball line. Also these high andtight molded cleats are awesome. I had a pair of the Wheels Molded cleats from last year and i really liked them. I only wish they would have made the cleatswhite. I love white molded cleats. I couldnt find a picture but i loved when Nike used the all white molded cleat outsole. I think McGuire had them.

the baserunning specific gloves are pretty popular in asia. it sorta makes sense though, might look goofy. most guys switch their gloves when the get on thebase, might as well have some designed specifically for protecting your palms

does anyone have a pic of Matt Kemps all grey Easton batting gloves with a little royal blue on the logos they looked great with the away jerseys
