A couple years ago I found out one of my hs friends was bipolar. And the same time I found that out, I found out he took his life 
.
Apparently he had dealt with this even before hs, but not many people could tell. I sure couldn't. Son was always the class clown, jovial, talkative and hilarious one in class. We bonded over kicks and basketball, and he was always inviting me to chill and smoke with him, but I wasn't about that life back then. I remember the first time we played ball he crossed the **** outta me BUT not bad enough that I couldn't recover and block his shot immediately after.
Reading about his struggles had me in tears.
