I can't remember the name of the game but there was a soccer game I used to love where you could play in the desert, ice, dirt field, etc and if you tackled a player enough they would "die" and lay in the spot until the game finished. Reps for whoever knows the game in referring to.

Here's one thing I always wondered, Nintendo was HUGE in the 80's.....why didn't the following franchises get a game?

1. He-man (Masters of the Universe)
2. Thundercats
3. M.A.S.K
4. Transformers (not that POS famicom version)
5. Hotwheels ( Mattel released a Barbie game)

Brings back so many great memories.

Games I could never beat cleanly:

Ghosts 'N Goblins (play it twice!!??? where is the off button!)
Battletoads
Contra (no codes = can't beat)
Friday The 13th
Gumshoe (what a frustrating game!!!)
Mega Man (beat it on an emulator only)
Rampage (does not end tho, so put it in the Pac-Man category)
Ring King (not sure if it ends or what but never could beat)
Tetris (impossible to beat - have seen the youtube vids w/ cats writing code to continue play, ha ha)
Zelda II: The Adventures of Link

But did beat some difficult ones like Ninja Gaiden; could beat the 1st TMNT game routinely in less than 30 minutes!!! & Mike Tyson had no chance after some practice!

Now that I think about it I never beat any nintendo game. They were just way to hard to beat in one session.

Games that I'm still proud that I beat (that I can remember):

Ikari Warriors. At least I think that I did. Everytime the game froze with some green looking dude dead on the screen.

Mike Tyson's Punch Out

Metal Gear

Zelda II. One day I had nothing else to do and strapped myself to the NES until I figured it out.

Metroid.

I'm pretty sure that I beat Goonies II.

Bubble Bobble.

Gameboy Tetris. A rocket launches at the end of it.
