Two responses from two non-winning franchises.

I think it is refreshing that someone can enjoy a sports season without a championship involved.
I think it is refreshing that someone can enjoy a sports season without a championship involved. Shows perspective and it is how society used to view sports (more realistic and healthy way of viewing IMO)

When you root for a pathetic franchise like the Seahawks or Texans, then I could understand how division titles are like watching your first born.
That Vikings team was Super Bowl or bust. Anything less was a failure. So to shed a tear of joy over a 3rd/4th place finish is quite pathetic to me. Unacceptable.

The Vikings were the best team in the NFL that season... but here's what happened:
Brett Favre fumbled.
Bernard Berrian fumbled.
Darius Reynaud fumbled.
Adrian Peterson fumbled.
Percy Harvin fumbled.
Brett Favre threw a pick.
Brett Favre threw a pick.
And despite all of that, the Vikings had the ball deep in New Orleans' zone with the score tied at 28, with just 19 seconds left in the game. Not to mention, all of these turnovers while still keeping the score knotted took place at the Super Dome on the road.
Then the biggest factor when looking back, happened. The 12-men on the field penalty sent them back enough where a FG would've been 50-55+ yards, and a first down was necessary if you wanted to feel comfortable about your chances. Then Tracy Porter happened.
All of this points to the less talented team moving on. Despite effectively Cheddar Bobbing themselves more times than what could keep a person sane, they still had the ball on the last drive, seconds from victory.
The two best teams in the NFL played in that game. Anyone that disagrees with the Vikings being the better team didn't watch the game. You don't allow the ball to hit the turf 7 times and also have possession in enemy territory that late in a tie ballgame if you're not the better team. It's frustrating that they didn't advance where they would've surely beaten the Colts, but I can take some consolation (different from a moral victory) in it being such an entertaining season. As much as I enjoy sports, the true "loser mentality" is speaking of championships like they're the only way one can legitimize having pride in their team.
I didn't pick my team based on the fact that they were winning, so I enjoy both the ups and the downs.
Ups?
LOL. Once again, replaying BS. Wall of text that no one ask for or cares about.
Maybe Sports Illustrated will start coming out with junior achievement seasons on Blu-ray & DVD for you.
Are you betting or not?
Ups?
Well, it's all relative. As a bandwagoner you just wouldn't understand dawg, sorry.
At least our loss to the Saints didn't give off the vibe of a damn parade about to be thrown
I don't do bets where one person loses something while the other doesn't.
sidenote -- i have no prob with shoes posts . for the most part i find them entertaining and enjoyable
LOL.
Perfect logic.
We both know you wouldn't go away.

This (So weird, because I'm an Eagles fan), but I also enjoy his posts It's hilarious seeing people get worked up over his them, still. He's been doing this for so long, you'd think people would be used to it by now.
I don't even know who you are but just as long as I can get that other Packers fan involved, it's a bet.
