NT Gardeners Thread

Just finished potting some plants I bought from costco. Also potted some rosemary, basil, thyme, parsley. Also repotted my serendipity’s.

They were at my moms house and the landscapers accidentally cut the plant off when they were mowing the lawn so the plant died. She’s probably gonna do them again this year. I think my brother is doing some too

Gonna take it easy this year, just gonna do a few kinds of peppers and maybe cucumbers. It’s finally gonna be warm enough at night next week so I’m starting then, might not even waste my time with starting from seeds either

are you using this thread for plants as well? just wondering cuz I was going to make a thread for indoor plants

Yea, this is just for all gardening. Post them in here.

Thought my tomatoe plant was a goner earlier this week... I havent been watering it properly (water just rolls off the top then drains out the bottom). I was super hot and windy that dau and when I got home it was knocked over and all the leaves had wilted. I got a pho bowl and put the pit in it and watered it excessively and make sure it absorbed all the run off water and was fully saturated. The next day it looked fine, amazing how it bounced back! I need to repot it soon.

Are all those “save the roots and place them in water” style videos I see on socials as simple as it sounds?

Like can I really save some green onion stems and grow green onions in the house? Or will I have to transplant them outside eventually?

I mean, you could just get a pot... but eventually plain on light bulbs probably arent gonna cut it...
