why are there no jobs?
because there are no customers.
why are there no customers?
because they have no money to spend.
why don't they have any money?
because the price of everything is steadily increasing and the wages are flat.
why not increase wages, which increases the money to spend, which makes more customers, which creates more jobs to handle the demand?
because companies would hire less and work with a smaller staff for fear of profit loss due to a payroll hike
back at point 1.

all wrong. government is creating the majority of the inflation now thats increasing costs all over the place. the producer then pushes the costs down the supply chain and eventually hits the consumer. but most people at this point think the price increases are because businessmen are being "greedy" which isnt the case. increasing the minimum wage will do the complete opposite of what its intended to do and would create more unemployment. not only that, big corporations have more capital to take the hit while small businesses will be squeezed by any small increase in costs (you see this with ACA) and if the small business owner feels like it cant make a profit, it will close down creating more unemployment and corporations have less competition.

so all the financial experts that agree with a min wage increase are wrong?
we'll just have to disagree.
Inflation is a cause of too much money supply.
They are printing too much money.
The more money printed, the less the money is worth.
Prices going up is reaction to printing more and more worthless money.
QE4eva
then politicians get to blame corporations for the problems government created and suckers buy it up.
Why not enforce a $30 per hour minimum wage?
then politicians get to blame corporations for the problems government created and suckers buy it up.
yep.
got the citizens anger misguided in the wrong directions.
Why not enforce a $30 per hour minimum wage?
That's where minimum wage should be.
yet people think its okay to accrue thousands of dollar worth of student debt to make this wage smh.
".......Summarizing the studies earlier this year, Paul Krugman -- the Nobel Prize-winning economist -- declared: 'The great preponderance of the evidence... points to little if any negative effect of minimum wage increases on employment.'..."

getting us out of a pointless war gets no love.... cz again, you can't satisfy this bratty *** America we live in
you must be a fool to listen to paul krugman and his stupid nobel prize.

so critics call him out on a blog unrelated to what we're talking about and now all his posts are make believe?
Ok
which then discredits everyone else with a similar view on the min wage?
An that is where you are wrong. Skilled leaders and politicians are actually able to build consensus for their agenda. Yes there will always be some people that disagree, but they are still able to get things done. Obama is just not one of those leaders.
People like to complain about the Republicans never wanting to compromise, that is wholly Obama's fault. They smelled blood in the water his first year. He never did the proper glad handing and political diplomacy required to be successful in D.C. He made the horrible political calculation of running calculation of running against as an outsider and actually remaining an outsider. You can't change **** from the outside.

Shows he's a short sighted fool. Why shouldn't minimum wage be $60 an hour?

what does it say about all the other economists and universities that forecast the min wage increase as having no real negative impact on unemployment?
all fools?
