OFFICIAL 2016 @MiamiHEAT SEASON THREAD::::

Beating the cavs twice in a week!!!

Still want to get rid of caveman Babbit. Please cut him and sign sullinger!!

I don't understand how silly Babbit starts

Don't fix what isn't broken. Babbit plays his role and has actually gotten better over the season. He's actually makes those wide open threes he used to miss and has played some decent defense at times. I've seen him get a few blocks the last few games.

The point is they are winning and have a rotation that works.

Spo time and time again proving his resolve cementing himself as one of the elite coaches in the league. He's top 3 as far as I'm concerned!

I know i've been gone for a minute. I just didn't know how to feel about this run that we're on.

Gotta admit I was angry at first cause I wanted Lonzo Ball but, IRWT...always. The Don knows best.

I'm on the train now that i see it's real. If coach Spo isn't coach of the year...smh

Had a chance to win in he 4th quarter, just couldn't make plays down the stretch. I love how they played so tough considering they were without Dragic and on a short back-to-back. No reason to be mad.

The Dragon with 33 points tonight and the win!!

Earlier today I read a post about how this team mirrors the '97-'98 squad. Both have beat the previous champions twice (Jordan Bulls, and LeBron Cavs) within the same season and have beat other wining teams. Both have had long win streaks... The 97 team had an 11 game win streak in February.

Alonzo Mourning - Hassan Whiteside, all star caliber centers who are shot blockers
Tim Hardaway - Goron Dragic, talented all start caliber PG
Kurt Thomas - Justise Winslow; 2nd year players and 1st round picks (both injured)
Keith Askins - Rodney McGruder; scrappy journeymen
PJ Brown - James Johnson; versatile bigs (although James Johnson is more of a 3)
Dan Majerly - Tyler Johnson; combo guards who come off the bench
Vashon Leonard - Wayne Ellington; three point specialist
Ike Austin - Willie Reed; NBA journeymen and competent backup Centers
Jamal Mashburn - Dion Waters; scoring 2 guards

The biggest difference of course is the '97 team went on the be the 2nd seed in the Eastern conference and this team is on the fringe. But talent wise it's very similar, IMO.

Who could forget this game 8)
