OFFICIAL LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 2013 OFFSEASON THREAD - Media Day Done; Training Camp Starting

seriously adidas? you couldn't just make that jersey into a regular sleeveless joint?

At this point, the only way the sleeves are going to go away if a majority of the players start complaining about them and that doesn't seem to be happening. I think we're stuck with them for a while.

I'm on board. We know they're capable of "Lob City" at any time (minus playing Memphis).

I love the added dimension Doc's going to bring with the defense.

I really can't wait to see how Blake and DJ respond to it.

Yeah, I was over Lob City pretty much as soon as the media hyped it up. You're right, we know Blake and DJ are going to continue to get highlight reel dunks, but its good Doc and the team are making that kind of stuff a secondary consideration.

glad we have Doc as the coach . he knows tht you don't win championships throwing Lobs .

what i would do to hang out there and watch some of those games.

Yeah, man. Would be real cool. I live near Playa Vista and drive by the practice facility pretty regularly, but have never really seen anyone famous going in our coming out. Probably because I drive by there in the evenings or on weekends. The pick-up games seem to be during the day on weekdays.

Nice read!

All this time I thought The Drew is where they got their good 'runs' in during the summer in SoCal.

A lot of them definitely play at the Drew too, but that's open to the public. They probably like going to the Clippers' spot because its private.

Good point. It was bananas when KD showed up at Drew this summer...

btw... I completely forgot about the fUCLA runs too.

Can't wait to get a early look at the team formerly known as Lob City today.

Should be interesting with all the new personnel on both teams.

GO CLIPPS!!

Didn't get to see the game last night, but glad to hear others liked what they saw.

So Willie Green is a starter?

I guess to guard the opp PG

JJ is gonna start. They did a little heads up on why Willie started. Something about JJ was gonna sit out and Willie was warming up with the starters and he said let's just roll with that.

Projected lineup:
Paul
Redick
Dudley
Griffin
The new DJ

BENCH:
Collison
Crawford
Barnes
Jamison
Mullens

Reserves:
Green
Bullock
Hollins
Davies
Amundson
Wayns

Really diggin our depth from 1-4 and with DJ playing the way he hopes to play under DOC I see bigger things happening for this team then just an extended playoff run or WCF appearance.

I'd prefer Amundson over Davies tbh but for sure that 15th spot should go to him over Wayns.

I'd take Lou also. With this team, I think we're better off with a proven vet that knows his role. Amundson can be that guy.
