What's good brah's. I know NT has always been very charity conscious and done right for us by us.

With that said, I felt that even though times can be very hard for many of us, one of the best ways to feel good when your down is by giving back in some way.

I'm creating this thread to help promote positivity by giving back to those in need or less fortunate in some way, shape, or form.

I just want to give everyone some websites to help them make better informed decisions when giving back and see where this goes from here.

I especially like the last one. NT has done stuff with KIVA in the past. While not necessarily a charity...since it is based on giving out micro-loans to those that need to promote their quality of life. I really feel that if posters find a kiva borrower that really sticks out to them, they can post it in this thread in hopes of getting other posters on board to help that person/family/group to reach their goal.

For those that live in nyc:

I've volunteered with nycares for about 6-7 years now and i've been a team leader on a couple of projects. Really nice way to give your time to a special cause.

I really like donating to Unicef, breast cancer research foundation, and American Foundation for Children with AIDS.

It's not just about giving money, it could be volunteering, advocacy, or helping NT'ers put a spotlight on things their doing in their own backyards.

Repped. Philanthropy is so so so important. How much better would the world be if everyone thought give first instead of mine mine mine?

Never knew about that Kiva joint. I might need that. Thanks!
