Why even engage these dudes if they wanna tap dance for massa trump let em, I say good riddance hopefully they go to a trump rally get their wig split and maybe then they'll knock off the Clayton bigsby act.

I wholeheartedly understand being unsatisfied with the Democratic Party in this country but to then throw your support behind blatant racism and bigotry in an effort to look different or pretend your the smartest guy in the room is flat out stupid.

:smh: that's Mr. Marcus up there spewing that? Damn man. Dissapointed. Thought he was a real one. Smh.

Rusty done schooled them up there, but ****** sleep.

Y'all must've forgot Reagan, and his effect on Black's in the 80s...

Speaking of trump rally, his henchmen threw out an Indian-American from his rally in NC. He told them he was a trump supporter & tried showing them his voter ID that showed he was republican...

If you're a minority and you want to negotiate your vote, that's fine but this isn't the candidate to do it for.

If you're Latino, Trump says native Latinos can't be objective and wants deport Latino families.

If you're Black, Trump believes you murder everybody and that you are inherently lazy.

If you can support for that in you're in 2 groups, I don't know what to tell you.

as someone said, the government is not going to magically make everyone's life better. however, someone like trump could make it much worse for minorities. if he would've taken time to talk about systemic racism, to offer a solution, etc., maybe he would get black votes. but he basically did the same junk he always does, saying the grass is greener on the other side and promising that he will deliver.

well we know what he would deliver. we know how things can be worse. a lot of progress has been made. let's not let the idiot who said the following take us backwards, the kind of idiot who would've supported segregation, whose father was a klansman, the type of idiot who spent nearly a decade attacking the first black president with lies, the type of idiot who is condescending to minorities, the type of idiot who is speaking purely to angry white males who we know hate minorities. don't be an idiot too.

I've got black accountants at Trump Castle and at Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. Those are the kind of people I want counting my money. Nobody else. Besides that, I've got to tell you something else. I think that the guy is lazy. And it's probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is; I believe that. It's not anything they can control." (Trump quoted in a 1991 book by John O'Donnell, who was president of the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino.)

Voting republican as a minority is like pissing in the sea and hope it affects the direction of the tide.

Not happening because NUMBERS. You don't have the numbers. Your voice will be drowned out by the racist, anti-minority people that constitute the largest portion of the party base, and none of what you want will be even put in consideration by the other party because you don't vote for them. A minority voting Republican is akin to the Republican party shutting that person up.

Want to know what the Democratic party has done for minorities? The answer is more than the Republican party will ever do.

Say what you want about Voter ID laws.. Which has been proven to be a target of minorities disproportionately.. But let's ignore all that...

The same party that is targeting black and minorities by cutting early voting hours and days drastically, is the party you think they should "bargain" their vote for?

They should vote for the party who doesn't even want them to vote

Conservative thinkers and independents what are the good reasons for make it harder for people to vote?

Like why repel some parts of the Voting Rights Act of 1965?

Like how does that benefit minorites?

North Carolina being a prime recent example of this. I find no logic in voting for a party that has tried its best to disenfranchise minority voters for decades.

If I were to apply that logic to my country, it would be like asking a muslim to vote for the NVA, a nationalist party whose leader has explicitly said that racism is an effect of problems with minorities, not a cause. Sure, the other parties aren't exactly champions of social justice for minorities but it's a whole lot better than voting for a party actively demeaning muslims and trying to restrict their freedom, such as the ridiculous law proposal the NVA has made earlier this week that would put a nationwide ban on women wearing burkinis. Where is the logic in voting for a party that has a long history of marginalizing you, hoping that this time things will turn around? Picking the lesser poison on the other hand seems like a much more reasonable strategy.

The GOP has been throwing minorities under the bus for decades. And now Trump is supposed to be the savior?

Vote for whoever you want @Rico x Hood  but let's not act like there is sound logic behind voting for a wildcard whose party is drenched in white supremacy and oppression. As the minority population grows, at some point the GOP will be forced to put in real work towards gaining minority voters, but are they at that point yet? Perhaps for a start, they should stop enacting voting laws targeted to suppress minority voters and make real progress towards understanding of white supremacy, systemic racism and how it affects minorities.

I watched Trump's law and order speech earlier this week, he spent a lot of time talking about "the war on police" but not a single word was uttered about police brutality, an issue that disproportionally affects minorities. Instead he opted for more police in the neighborhoods.

They don't have the answers man. It's literally just try something different. No policy, no attitudes, nothing that would make it beneficial to vote Republican. Like Rusty said, what we should do is continue to vote outside of just presidential elections and get all these clown toting bigots out the paint. Get an entire liberal national government and trickle down into the state and local levels as well.

Furthermore if you're in that 1% that allegedly is voting for Drumpf, you are Stephen from Django status in my eyes until further notice. Never has the GOP been more of a white supremacist expressive party since the days of George Wallace on a national level. How ANY black person can fix their lips to even suggest voting Drumpf knowing not only the incompetence that he possesses, but the clear agenda that this new GOP wants is just asinine to me.

First off, I'm not making fun of black people. And cats want to talk about the Republicans and minorities? Has anyone looked at that GOP platform for 2016, and it definitely includes language about strengthening their appeal to minority voters. This would be the best time to flex our collective muscle because they're asking us to prom. You don't like Trump? Fine. Vote for Hillary. But maybe consider some GOP candidates on the down ballot. I

Specifics. What are they implementing that would actually make them a better choice? Because Drumpf's platform is the exact opposite. I think the majority follow the same trickle down nonsense, tax cuts for the wealthy, and definitely lack of social reforms, but that's just a hunch. Feel free to enlighten us.

i downloaded the platform but saw nothing about police brutality and racial inequity. please point me to those sections.

i did encounter a paragraph attacking porn though.

This is an excerpt of CNN's analysis of Trump's speech on Black issues.

Maybe it would have been nice if he went and had a backdrop with a burning car

Trump's adviser in response to why Trump is addressing Black people from largely white communities or neighborhoods.

You're talking about language while we're talking about action. Considering how they want to muzzle the black vote, going to prom with them is likely to result in us being assaulted and our body tossed in a nearby river.

No thanks.

First off **** CNN this election cycle they're bias is through the roof. They are clearly Anti-Trump. I won't give them any of my time.

Language begets action. The **** is right there on paper. But I guess the Democrat's strangle hold on black voters is too strong.

What is this language and, Democrats have plans to help minorities.

It is nice that the GOP might throw a couple sentences out there, but the fall way short of the DNC's and Clinton's platform

Has Trump made any specific promises to minorities? Serious question.

No charade. I don't watch Fox or MSNBC either. I like fair and balanced coverage and CNN has moved wayyyyyy to the left. That's what I'm upset about.
