Thinking about taking a trip to San Diego, where should I start?

Horton Plaza (shopping)
Gas lamp quarter
Take bus ride to tiajuana
san diego zoo
Stay away from the desert it's boring, get a hotel in the city.

Fashion Valley mall (higher end shopping)
PB (Pacific Beach) bar hopping
Kayaking in La Jolla
Sky diving (if your feeling adventurous)
Seaport Village (lots of little shops and restaurants down by the water)
My fav city on the west.
-Stay in the gass lamp area. Great bars/clubs.
-Check out PB, day or night both are legit
-Get a California Burrito or Carne Asada fries. Even if you've had them in other cities they wont compare. Not sure why but SD has the market on lock.
