Hi guys, i am currently a design student.  I've come to my final major project and it happens to be on "The Addiction of Collectors" but more specially on sneakers. I would be really grateful if you could answer some questions for me.

"Would you say sneaker collecting is an addiction? If so why."

I would consider it a addiction. People make light of it because it isn't damaging on the body like drugs or alcohol, but it is a addiction nonetheless. Always spending money to get that fix, and searching the internet finding ways to quench that insatiable urge to cure the itch. I know dudes who will spend their last and neglect essential things that they need in life such as a car, roof over their heads, or will not pay bills just so that they have that pair that they're seeking. And on the restock yesterday, some people got heated that they couldn't spend money that they didn't have in the first place just to have something that they missed out on. Camping, fighting, killing...all a part of this recent sneaker culture.
