You forget about the brain bugs. Remember, they invaded that outpost and sucked out the brains of the commanders and others. It might have been another type of bug shot that..think about the other bugs shooting down the starships when the humans attacked.

btw, this is my favorite movie of all time.

i love this movie too, i think definitely one of my top two favorites along with alien

im just saying when i saw it recently it appeared that the government was just kinda using this war to get people to join the military and as a way to gain the appeal of the public. Not because some bugs on the opposite side of the galaxy where hurling meteors. just something i thought i noticed
