all you can do is press the buttons on the machine and pray...not like he works for the lottery headquarters or something -

he's the type that needs the most help.. best of luck to the dude.

He'll either be dead by his own doing, killed, or broke within 12 years.

"I can be with them as much as I want now," Shaw said.

He said his children already have been asking for new skateboards, bicycles and "just stuff that's really hard to do when you make $7.25 an hour."

Good for him, I hope things work out.

Question though..............is it a requirement that you have to show yourself to the public in order to collect your winnings or can you opt to keep it on the low?
They only require the name. They only show your face if it's a big jackpot like this because the media actually cares about this. Lots of people win jackpots, but it's the only the significant ones that have their face on TV. You're better off winning a couple million and nobody even realizing it.

you will always end up more if you take the annuity option
once you adjust inflation and market rate interest that is

and plus you will still be having a nice cash flow

i want to manage that money for him

Yea some dumb customer might of asked him to check their ticket, and when he found out it was the winning ticket he kept it for himself.

I saw that on some TV show.

this guy will be broke instantly. he is superdumb for even thinking about keeping his job, its scary that this dude, who shouldn't have money like that.... wins . Meth Lab here we come

If i got the 124 mil I would cop a decent house in a nice neighborhood, 3 reliable cars, put 5 mil in the bank and give the rest away to family and charity.

whoever would take the lump sum is stupid.
8,600,000 a year for 30 years or
124,000,000 up front........
You already get the lump sum in 15 years. Think about it 15 more years of over 8 million.
