The Oakland Athletics 2013 Season Thread

Just got home. Very disappointed in how we played tonight. Defense, strikeouts...not even in the mood to talk about it.

Hopefully tomorrow is different.
 
The bright side is that we gave them 8 shut out innings afterwards. But baseball is a nine inning game, and when you spot Max Scherzer three runs in the first, you're asking to get beat.

Today is a must win. Gray has to pitch great. We have to jump on Verlander.

Gray needs to have a quick first inning and we need to get to Verlander in the first 3 innings, otherwise our season is in serious trouble.

It will be incredible if he will be able to outduel Verlander. Let's hope for some offense too that isn't Cespedes!

bright side of getting out of class at 1pm on Monday is the A's game. Works perfectly for me, and I don't have my next class until 5. Last nights Raider game was sucky for me time wise tho.
 
Good win by the A's today. Wish Balfour would have thrown high and in to Martinez on the next pitch.
