get 2 laundry bins or baskets one for colored clothes and one for whites, it helps also if your the type that just throws stuff in the closet at least they stay in the bin/basket looks somewhat better

I just do laundry every week consistently, sorting clothes is done on spot since it's only a weeks worth of clothes.
