as far as lore, yeah, you're right. but i gave up on the movies following g1 storylines after the first movie. its a joke it took them 4 movies to let frank welker, who did an awesome job might i add, do megatron.

Weren't they only able to create it because Megatron was guiding them?lol lucas!? dude was a snitch deserved all that came to him haha. Movie was basically a set up for the next 2 movies. Hopefully the next two movies have a better "story". My love for transformers is deep but that "man made" transformium was beyond my comprehension
The only thing the films have in common with G1 are the name, factions and the leader of each respective factions and bumblebee. Everything else is a joke. I've seen every transformer film in theaters and each time I'm more shocked that Bay can not give any ***** about actual Transformer lore. Like he could actually follow some G1 story arcs and make a good film. He could follow the mini-con saga from Armada and make a great film. So many stories....and yet he rather give us a geriatric Jetfire
who like that beastwars ******** man im a g1 fan in my opinion the only true line of tf universe if they ever attempt a beastwars movie that **** will bomb hard .....after seeing movie number 4 its like the dinobots didnt have a place mashing them up at the end of the movie like they did the robot joke they called devestator wad a waste then letting them be free or some ******** prime kept running.....the movies ending was ****** up and corny smh tf4 had good scenes which made it better than 2 or 3....i hope next film the quintessons are the villians and they stick to original characters
