Sneakerheads who are into the hype or wear what the rap game reps are wearing LeBron's (more often than not). I've worn both, and LeBron's shoes are like bricks on the court. Too heavy. Kobe's have always been more concentrated on performance.

Hilarious!

also see old peeps wearing kobes. I saw a 60+ granpa wearing the
glass blue 6s (for real) one time. should've snapped a pic. I see kids
wearing huraches to school. But to be fair, I also see kids wearing
brons and older guys too. Just not as much. Maybe 8:1 ratio here in
PI.
I'm sure cali is an exception. But my dude in chi plays with most of the guys
wearing Kobe...
LeBron sells no doubt... But for nike to have kobe lead other products too?
Why didn't they have LeBron launch the hyperdunk?

That is because it would have been a risk to have LeBron in that shoe, then having something happen to him while playing in a shoe, one that is not built for his size and power, that is why. Even Kobe had to have the last and outsole changed on his personal Hyperdunks, but I am sure that you know that.
Here on the East Coast USA, I am quite sure that we have some serious ballers as well. There are pics of people playing at West 4th Street, Rucker, King Towers, all over the 'net, as there is even a vid' in the sports and training section of some Niketalkers playing at LaGuardia, and guess what?
No Kobe's, but there are LeBrons all over.
