I doubt it the 2001 has 5x better quality and once it releases would probably if anything give the 2001s more value cause these New RetroS are just not cuttingit with quality and comfort and I think everyone saw it in the fake quality of the cdp 3s when they got it and saw terrible leather and not to mention that damjumpman

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but other then nostalgic, the 2001 retro 3's, both blk/cement and true blue should hold no value since they cannot beworn due to the midsole cracking, they're nearly 9 years old. A DS pair is useless

this personally happen to you? don't spread misinformation, i have never heard of the midsoles cracking on the 3's. i mean the paint canchip a little but the whole midsole crack? doubt it. at least all the pairs i had were fine.

either way no one's gonna pay 5x more for a pair of 01 retros when the 09's look 99% the same.

Not saying this to be smart but alot of you just don't know how far quality has fallen off especially with the leather. Retros there putting out now arealmost made of pleather. But anyway I'm keeping my 2 pair and not worring about what they put out because it won't be up to par.

I have a pair of cements from 94, and the midsole turns yellow, the air bubble gets foggy and they crack.
Same thing happen with my cement IV's.

And I hope you don't think the 01 retros, were better than my cements in quality

There are some 01 pairs that are in great condition and are still wearable

Those are the pairs that hold the most value

I hate how we get crappy quality retros.

P.S. True Blue III's 2009 copped. I don't care about quality, or value, or any of that crap. I care about True Blue III's.

Yes, every other Jordan shoe that has re-retro'd in the same colorway has caused the previous shoes value to go down. Happened with both the III & IVfrom the CDP despite those shoes not having Nike on the back and being crap quality.

Plus the heel tab on 95% of the True Blues is yellowed. Also the shoe is 8 yrs old so cracking is a real concern.

They will drop in value. Perhaps not as much as when the economy tanked though.

Yes the value will go down. Basic Supply and demand, 1000's of people looking for True Blue iii's will be satisfied with the new retro and will nolonger be looking. Yes there will be some that want to 01's but not nearly as many= value down.
