I picked up thr Vomero 14 a couple of weeks ago. I never had the older Vomeros. Its definitely bouncier than the Pegs. Its more like a Peg than an Epic React, but you can notice the React cushioning compared to the Peg. I like them. The padding on the ankle takes some getting used to but...

You can try the Odyssey React. It's the same price but the React is bouncy and soft compared to the Pegasus 35. Especially for casual wear. I'm still on the fence whether I like it for running. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I don't.

The React is a little thinner on the Odyssey. You may not notice for an everyday shoe, but it is evident when running. The upper on the Odyssey is a lot snugger due to the neoprene tongue. It feels more locked in. I like them both, but I prefer the Epic for running.

The Peg 34 definitely irritated my achillies. The 35 is a lot better. I'm sure the looks is an added bonus for Nike (I like it as well), but it was to the point that I couldn't even walk around in my 34's without my achilles *****ing. That's the only shoe I had that problem with. Probably the...

They did people with sensitve hamstrings a huge favor, though. That's why I love the 35s over the 34's which I couldn't wear after a while becuase the sides of the heel collar dug into my ankles.

I run with my phone in a SPI belt. I find if i position it correctly it wont bounce and i dont notice it at all. (about halfway between front and side for me)
