Feels like it’ll work in the context of an album, but no idea the rhyme or reason behind it releasing as a single. I like it though—just feels like a close to closing track.

My point. Nothing was supposed to happen and that's why it's commonly thought he was good in it because it didn't actually require him doing anything. Perfect for him. I'm not an actor, so I can't speak to how difficult it was--which it may have been--he may very well be skilled at acting...

Feels like Fruitvale didn't actually require a great performance, from an acting standpoint. He was young black male in Oakland. It's a movie where much doesn't actually happen, even emotionally. Which is kind of the point...he was just a regular black dude, living life, trying to make a way...

Definitely not being glamorized and I do get any and every reason someone wouldn't want to watch the show. It's just really really good though.

Feels like he's concerned that people don't get what he's doing. He's also choosing this thematic/cinematic lane that most people really just don't care about all that much. He wants his genius points, but people just want great music, to start. Whatever way you feel about the music shouldn't...
