It's all about opinions but for me the 3.1 is just another shoe that doesn't shout anything to me. He's not really released a good asics shoe since the volcano. However the GL3 on the other hand is a classic and a shoe I was reluctant to drop $3000 a few years back so a must have now!!!!!
