Does anyone have any factual reasoning on why Nike/JB has been doing this banana shape on retro sneakers? Across many retros this trash shape is what we have received since after the 2000s.
Got TTS one these if you’re normal or a slight narrow footer. If you’re narrow - very narrow you may be able to go down .5
I got these on SNKRS release and had to flip them due to going down .5 thinking the would fit big like 6s prior to 2015.
Go TTS! These DO NOT run half a size big at all. I got a size 11 thinking they’d fit like my older 6s. I have to hope I hit on RD now. Im normally 11.5 in everything and I am a normal/narrow footer. 2019 is shorter in length and not as roomy in the toe box
2010 VR on the right
2019 Infrared on...
Yeah bro, overall construction of the shoe seems weak in comparison to any 6 I’ve ever held. Toebox is especially weak on my pair. Come on JB/Nike..... really
SNKRS pair came in looking good. QC not too bad. Wish heel contrast was heavier, but it is visible. Aside from the heel I am happy with my pair. On my pair the heels material does feel different than the rest of the upper. Someone else also mentioned this.
You’re also right bro. Infrared shades varied some light some darker in 1991 based on production factory. Even MJ’s pairs on court varied and clear if you go through all the 1991 pics. Same thing happened with shades on the OG Bordeaux 7s.
Has nothing to do with age. I’ve been collecting since 98 and I like the 2010 way better than 2014. I thought the materials and shape was trash in comparison. It was just my preference between them. And I’m usually a OG all the way guy, but the 2014 was an easy pass for me.
Yeah. I think natural lighting is best for the material and the fact there is 3M. Also natural light will help show the true color of the infrared versus it being contrasted by bulb lighting.
I think the same. We have seen so many variations of what the retail pairs will look like
1. Contrast Heel has only shown on the non retailers pairs - Fineline etc
2. No contrast at all on Nike add pair or on Keith pairs
