Agreed, but I guess they figure it isn't worth upgrading the back end because they only get this kind of demand 2 or 3 times a year. They probably are right, but Nike surely does not have that excuse for SNKRS.

Man, that's brutal. Being out there for hours just to get a wristband, go back out there and then get turned away? I would be heated. I saw pics of Bun B with 5 bags full, lol. Not the best first impression.

I guess the only difference this time is it's actually built out now. Last year there was nothing but bare walls. The SNKRS video showed it with displays and such. It looks like they are ready. There is a boutique already over there so I think they will be fine. We will see.

I have no idea. The vibe I get is it will be like Social Status, a tier zero boutique and not just have Trav stuff in there. I actually wouldn't be shocked if they held back stock for the real opening. I live in Houston and planned on going down there yesterday but my car had other ideas...

I am going to get out to SPACE early and hope to get some 1s and 1s lows.

Just left the SPACE drop. Moved fast, no drama. I wish all drops were like this. The AF1s were the only thing they had and you had to have a reserve. Rumors were flying is that they would have one shoe a day. We will see. Nice set up inside. No merchandise.

Last year they had the Oiler 4s and Sail AF1s along with a bunch of tour merch. I kind of would be shocked if they didn't have tour merch this weekend. But I don't think they will have anything but these Sneaker Pass AF1s tomorrow.

I have a reserved pair and know it is going to be a nuthouse. The line should atleast move quickly.
