The last generation (37 & 38 )were weirdly released earlier than they have been previously. For the last decade or so it has been a 1 June release, wouldn't be shocked if it was back to that cadence this gen.
Sadly was not able to try them on, my shoe is much bigger than the model that was in front of me. I admit that I don't know how they feel while running in regards to weight. But, compared to other racers, trainers, and even the latest shoes from Nike, they feel lighter than their listed weight...
From what I could tell, yes. The lower profile of the Turbo, accompanied but some springiness of the react, give it that fast feeling. I used them for all workouts leading up to races and if the Vaporfly (whatever version it was at the time) wasn't there, I would have raced with it. But the...
Just held it in hand, I am never the size of any sample shoe. If it does have any rocker to it, won't be as dramatic as a Clifton. I don't remember much about the collar, but there was a softness there and not the stiffer heel counter we get from the Peg.
The Invincible is light as hell and felt like a massive chunk of ZoomX foam. The upper was an extremely light and breathable one-piece. (Not as tight as flyknit. ) It seems to be more of an everyday premium mileage shoe and not a "faster" shoe compared to how the Turbo was marketed and...
I was told the release of the Tempo Next% would be October as of a few weeks ago, I don't think that it will be in August. But could be completely wrong and things may have changed.
Grabbed the "obsidian mist" colorway of the 37s today. Ran 5 easy miles in them and am liking them so far. Fit was about the same as recent models, and nothing noticeably narrower imo. (I used to order a wide some years as well). The ride is smooth and softer, but not "squishy". Zoom Air pocket...
Picked it up at a local shop here in the states. Usually stores, especially specialty shops tend to get them mid May.
Ran in them for 50 minutes this morning and they felt like a nice upgrade from the 35. Upper is much better on the run than the 35 and actually feels cooler temperature wise...
Picked up my Bright Crimson (600) Peg 36 today!
The new upper and tongue feel very nice, and certainly an upgrade from the 35. It looks and feels more breathable as it has been stated and referenced for design. With the hot and humid days we have for the next 5 months, I'll really be able to...
Still trying to find release dates but did find a description of the Peg 36 Trail.
Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail
Men's Running Shoe
An icon trades pavement for path with the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail. Give your feet some fresh air in a perforated mesh upper, as double Zoom Air units...
Nike ID did give the option for this Peg shield earlier this year for a bit. I was thinking about getting a pair. My guess is they are a return of someone's ID order that ended up in the outlet. I regret not ordering a pair but hoping they bring them back for next year for the shield or...
Picked up my Ekidens VF today and man they are clean. Also, not sure if this has been posted but the new Vaporfly will not be called the 5% as originally planned.
I initially thought the same about the Turbo, it was soft and didn't think that it fit into any sort of category for me. But after coming back to it recently, I have done all of my running in it. From easy days to faster tempos down to 10k pace type workouts. Really enjoy it for longer and...
Got my pair of "Deep Royal" VF in today and they look even better in person. I like that the red accent is bright and the blue isn't too dark. Can't wait to race in these in a week.
