Well technically that's not incorrect...they are originals in that the fact it's the first time they were released, even though they're not original in the sense that they came out after the XIs.

My pair from NDC has 0 yellowing and I've worn them multiple times.

Are they DS? If do, you did decent. If not, you probably overpaid.

They did retro the black/red XIIs before they got the 'Flu Game' treatment, however they were done in all leather. The Nubuck pairs were exclusively 'Flu Games'.

The ones you see on eBay are more than likely gray market. If your CGs haven't started yellowing at all yet, you must have the exact climate conditions necessary to prevent soles on XIs from yellowing. It's (unfortunately) a natural part of the aging process.

It's definitely worth asking about.
