Don't see why the deal should be killed. It's fair. Paul is leaving, Hornets got all they could. Scola/Kev/Odom/Dragic/Picks is a pretty damn good return considering the circumstances. Deal should go through, it's in NO's best interest... and no, I'm not a Laker fan.
The team that may have been shafted is the Rockets. Scola/Kev/Dragic is an awful lot to give up for Gasol alone. Maybe it gave them some cap space or soemthing, though... I'm not sure.
