PREAMBLE:
This isn’t a comparison about comfort of life now compared to comfort of life then/when.
This is a comparison of wickedness, debauchery, moral decay.
ERAS from -3000BCE to 2026 per GEMENI
- Ancient History (~3000 BCE - 500 CE): Bronze Age, Iron Age, Classical Era (Greece/Rome).
- Middle Ages/Medieval Era (c. 500 - 1500 CE): Post-Classical world, Feudalism.
- Early Modern Era (c. 1500 - 1800 CE): Renaissance, Exploration, Enlightenment.
- Modern Era (c. 1800 - Present): Industrial Age, Machine Age, World Wars.
- Contemporary Era/Information Age (c. 1970 - Present): Rise of computers, Internet, Space Age.
- 21st Century (2000-2026): The New Millennium, focus on digital transformation, AI, global connectivity.
OUTLOOK:
It is known that we more technologically advanced today than it was in the MIDDLE AGES but
I don’t subscribe to the idea that the civilization of early ANCIENT TIMES was this primitive civilization we have been shown. If anything, I think our current intellect and capabilities have devolved in comparison to say, Sodom and Gomorrah which was the Bronze Age/Early Ancient Times.
When we each hear this question or comparison of which times were worse, we form a conclusion by looking at this comparison through the lens of our own conscience and how we see the comfort of living today vs other eras. I think a lot will dismiss this comparison from the aspect of we have it easy they had it rough. I see it through the lens of what each does with what each has irregardless of living conditions. This is a question of morality vs immorality and has nothing to do with anything but that.
CONSCIOUS AWARENESS:
5stages of life are Birth/Infancy/Childhood/Adulthood/Death.
At the stage of adulthood we have reached the place where we understand, awareness has been reached and you are no longer afforded the luxury of blissful ignorance. It becomes willing ignorance and like it or not you chose that over moral duty, you have chosen.
Not everyone reaches that level of understanding and those who don’t will be judged accordingly.
I think the people of any ERA were capable of at least that (adulthood/understanding right/wrong)no matter how the living conditions were.
Sodom was a city that was destroyed because it was corrupted and would have corrupted the entire WORLD before it would turn from its wickedness.
It wasn’t the entire WORLD that was judged. The corruption of Sodom was isolated and stemmed from right inside their walls.
The current state of the corruption isn’t an isolated state, or STATE/Nation.
The corruption is GLOBAL. Some would say I can’t speak on the WORLD when I’ve never left the WEST and only know the WEST and I say, those who have eyes will see.
